The team behind the boutique property has made it its mission to support and showcase art while giving hotel guests private access.

The Accommodations
The design idea is as simple as it gets: Casa Polanco, a boutique 1940s mansion, is meant to be preserved as faithfully as possible. After four dedicated years of restoration, the result is 19 rooms and suites, each with its own individual interior blending retro chic with a modern touch. They are spread across the mansion and an annex. Guests can book six Deluxe Rooms, eight Premier Rooms in different categories, two Grand Suites, as well as the Anatole Suite, Polanco Suite (pictured) and Lincoln Suite. All accommodations feature chic custom-made furniture, walnut wood floors, Mexican textiles and one original artwork each. Depending on the room category, they offer either a king-size bed or two queen-size beds, a rain shower and, in some cases, even a cozy bathtub plus spacious terrace, and a separate living and working area.

The F&B
The food department is just as boutique. The hotel is home to La Veranda, a restaurant reserved exclusively for hotel guests. It serves the included breakfast, an all-day menu and afternoon tea daily. The menu features Mexican specialties as well as international classics. A lovely morning service: Before breakfast, guests can have the Eye Opener – coffee or tea – delivered directly to their room on request. Those who enjoy tea during the day will also appreciate the daily afternoon tea, which is included as well. Plus, rooms come with a complimentary maxi-bar.
The Experiences
Casa Polanco’s experiences focus on Mexico’s art and culture scene. At the heart of it is the hotel’s Casa Collective program, which gives guests access to places usually closed to the public. With "Meet the Makers", guests meet established and emerging Mexican artists and designers in a personal setting. "Discover the Studio" leads to studios, galleries and private art collections, as well as architectural icons by Luis Barragán and Max Cetto. This gives travelers an intimate look at Mexico City’s creative scene, far beyond a classic museum visit. The offering is complemented by curated VIP city tours individual experiences tailored to guests’ interests. At the hotel, the new Casa Polanco Spa by Luum offers wellbeing sessions. The concept was developed for Casa Polanco and is based on the rare Melipona honeybee.
