The Reefworld pontoon at Hardy Reef in Queensland has been redesigned and is now reserved exclusively for overnight guests – who can sleep either beneath the open sky or below the water’s surface in the Reefsuites, Australia’s first underwater accommodations. A&K Launches Private Jet World Tour
On January 3, 2028, Abercrombie & Kent will embark on its first private jet journey connecting all seven continents, with no more than 50 guests. The 28-day itinerary travels from Miami via Iguazú Falls, Antarctica, Rapa Nui, Auckland, Uluru, Vietnam, Laos, the Maldives and Egypt to Madrid. Highlights include a direct flight to King George Island, a Nile cruise aboard the exclusively chartered Nile Seray and private visits to Egypt’s royal tombs. Guests travel aboard a Boeing 757 with lie-flat seats. The price tag: a cool $187,500 per person. More Info

La Réserve Debuts in Italy
La Réserve Firenze, the brand’s first property in Italy, opens on October 16. Housed in a restored 15th-century palazzo in the Oltrarno district, it features only six private apartments with one to three bedrooms. Trattoria Camillo provides room service, while a Maître de Maison and concierge attend to guests’ wishes. Experiences include private cultural tours, wine tastings and visits to places that are usually not open to the public. More Info

With The Luxury Collection Expeditions, the Marriott brand is expanding its offering beyond the hotel stay. The three formats – Private Tailored Journeys, Day Discoveries, and Residencies & Collaborations – range from multi-day itineraries to locally guided day programs. At launch, guests can choose from ten expeditions across North America, Europe, Asia and the Caribbean, including a classic car journey through Italy (pictured).
