The Foodie Scene
Three à la carte restaurants are available: the "Dorfstuben" with regional and Black Forest specialties, the "Restaurant Kaminstube" with European classics, and the Restaurant Bareiss, with chef Claus-Peter Lumpp, awarded with three Michelin stars. The Restaurant Bareiss, known throughout Europe as one of the best addresses for gourmets. The Bareiss half-board stands for limitless delectability, and represents a feast from early morning to late in the evening. From 7.00 a.m. exquisite snacks, tea and coffee are available at the Pool Bistro, followed by the legendary Bareiss breakfast buffet til 11.30 a.m. Cakes and pastries are offered in the afternoon. Dinner is served in the hotel guest restaurants. A midnight snack at the hotel bar complements the culinary program.
The Experiences
Angling, fly fishing and hunting, Classics Weeks for historical vehicles, barbecues, the Pool Party and the Bareiss Winter Forest. Each season has its highlights. For those who like it sporty, there are numerous options from skiing, snowshoe hiking or snowboarding in winter to hiking, cycling, golfing and tennis in summer. The hotel's owns a gym and offers fitness classes. A visit to one of the hotel’s own culinary outlets – Wanderhütte Sattelei or Forellenhof Buhlbach with its associated fish farm – is a wonderful experience. There is a complete Children’s Village for the kids, the Bareiss petting zoo, ponies with the riding stables and riding area. The hotel’s own Forest Park for nature lovers, and the Shopping Passage with lovingly selected treasures and exclusive collections.
