The Suites

Designed as a tranquil haven, Landhaus Stricker harmoniously combines modern elegance with traditional Frisian charm. Renovated in 2023 with a strong focus on sustainability, its stylish rooms and suites radiate warmth through soft sand tones, natural woods, and subtle accents of pink, purple, or green. Since February 2026, four “Landhaus Stricker Living” apartments have extended this sense of comfort: 130-square-meter homes for up to six guests, each featuring its own terrace and garden, seamlessly blending the freedom of a private residence with the refined amenities of a five-star superior hotel. Every detail reflects comfort, quality, and understated luxury, creating spaces where guests feel immediately at ease.

The Foodie Scene

At Landhaus Stricker, gastronomy becomes a story of place and passion. Michelin-starred BODENDORF’S, honored with its star for over two decades, offers a journey through refined flavors, while SIEBZEHN84 showcases Holger Bodendorf’s playful reinterpretation of classic dishes. Many ingredients served at SIEBZEHN84 are sourced from Schleswig-Holstein, ensuring freshness and a direct connection to the island’s terroir. Morning rituals are equally indulgent, with a leisurely breakfast served until 2 p.m., inviting guests to begin the day unhurriedly. Each November, the Island Food Festival transforms the house into a hub of culinary celebration: top chefs, sommeliers, and enthusiasts gather for masterclasses, tasting tours, and lively kitchen soirées.

The Experiences

Sylt reveals a distinct charm in every season. In spring, blooming flowers and grazing sheep line the dikes, inviting leisurely cycling, gentle strolls, or cozy beach fires. Summer brings vibrant energy, with sandy beaches, refreshing North Sea swims, and a lively atmosphere in bars and beach clubs. Autumn cloaks the island in golden light, as purple heath and mist over the tidal flats create a quietly magical scenery. Winter transforms Sylt into a serene refuge, with snow-dusted dunes and peaceful solitude. At Landhaus Stricker, guests can savor Friesian tea in the library, unwind in the spa with its iconic barrel sauna, or indulge in a sea salt massage. Golf enthusiasts will find four 18-hole courses, while island traditions such as the Biikebrennen offer authentic local experiences.
