Hapag-Lloyd Cruises, Atlantic Ocean

Ahoy! From November 25 to December 5, 2026, Hapag-Lloyd Cruises’ Europa will turn its Atlantic crossing into a ten-day wellbeing retreat at sea. The voyage "Nonstop from the Tejo to the Big Apple" uses the calm of consecutive sea days to give guests the opportunity for a true reset, with longevity at its core. Experts in health, psychology, and quality of life will introduce and demystify modern approaches to living longer, healthier lives. In the middle of the Atlantic, guests can expect talks, conversations, and interactive sessions focused on recovery, mental resilience, and practical routines that bring body and mind into balance. The Europa Refresh Program also offers plenty of options tied to mindfulness, personalized nutrition, movement concepts, and Ocean Spa treatments. A heated seawater pool and a fitness area with ocean views add the perfect relaxation boost. Culinary offerings support the longevity theme as well, with five onboard restaurants – including the refined The Globe by Kevin Fehling. Thanks to the many sea days, guests can truly unwind, indulge, and give their bodies something good. And as a final perk: the Europa will stay overnight in New York before guests return to everyday life.

Krallerhof, Austria

Der Krallerhof in Leogang, Salzburg, has built a strong reputation as a longevity powerhouse – and the momentum continues into 2026. Following high demand in 2025, the property is once again rolling out its signature retreats. The foundation is the "Regeneration & Longevity by Krallerhof" concept, built on six pillars: restorative sleep, a balanced immune system, emotional stability, a healthy gut, functional nutrition, and targeted movement. Together, they create a framework designed to foster long-term energy, strength, and overall wellbeing. The "Longevity Retreat" focuses on cellular energy, metabolism, and biohacking, featuring IHHT sessions, breathwork, cold and heat exposure, red light, functional training, and workshops on sleep and stress – providing guests with practical tools to boost performance and balance. The "Women’s Retreat" is tailored to female needs, addressing hormones, cycles, menopause, energy levels, and mental resilience, supported by breathwork, nutrition, mindfulness practices, and movement designed around women’s health. New editions of the "Longevity & Biohacking" retreat are planned for spring and autumn. And yes – longevity-focused cuisine is part of the experience, too.

Lanserhof, Sylt

Longevity also takes center stage at the newest Lanserhof outpost: Lanserhof Sylt offers 56 accommodations across multiple categories and an extensive range of medical wellness services. The team has introduced something entirely new for the longevity segment. Previously, guests pursuing this health-focused approach were required to stay a minimum of seven days. Starting January 2026, Lanserhof Sylt will launch the "Longevity Check", a program that requires only a four-day stay. It gives luxury travelers a deep yet time-efficient introduction to the topic. The program structure is streamlined. Guests undergo precise diagnostics beginning with several medical assessments – from in-depth check-ups and lab analyses to bioimpedance testing and a VO₂Max test that pinpoints physical performance. Complementary treatments include now-standard high-end health offerings such as cryotherapy sessions and bio-photon modulation used for regenerative therapy.

Mayrlife Altausee, Austria

At Mayrlife Altaussee, longevity is essentially the next evolution of the classic Mayrlife cure. The new healthy-aging concept blends personalized diagnostics with modern regenerative therapies, moving well beyond the traditional focus on gut health and detox. The program adds biological age analyses, mitochondrial diagnostics, and epigenetic testing to create highly individualized treatment plans – complex in theory, but deeply beneficial in practice. Complementary therapies include infusions, oxygen and cold treatments, and peptide protocols supporting cellular repair. Mental resilience is also a key pillar, with neurocognitive methods to ease stress and enhance emotional wellbeing. The result is a deep yet time-efficient introduction to healthy aging that remains practical: optimized nutrition, micronutrient support, and targeted movement help boost cell energy and build sustainable routines – all designed to translate seamlessly into everyday life.

Royal Mansour Tamuda Bay, Morocco

About a year after opening on Morocco’s northern coast, the Royal Mansour Tamuda Bay – member of The Leading Hotels of the World – has expanded with the addition of Le Medi-Spa, a 4,300-square-meter (46,300 sq.ft.) wellbeing haven. The focus here is firmly on modern longevity approaches that merge science with holistic wellness. Instead of fixed cure protocols, the programs rely on personalized diagnostics inspired by global Blue Zones – regions known for exceptional longevity – and combine them with high-tech tools such as metabolic assessments, 3D scans, and heart-rate-variability testing. A key benefit: guests receive a comprehensive evaluation of metabolism, nutrition, and physical resources at the very start, ensuring the program meets them exactly where they are. For newcomers, the seven-day Longevity Retreat offers a balanced introduction to physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing, including sleep, stress, and recovery analyses alongside treatments like cryotherapy and Watsu that actively revitalize the body. Other programs provide more targeted pathways: longevity-focused stays emphasize cellular therapy and regeneration, while holistic-balance retreats integrate detox protocols and traditional massage for a more restorative reset.

Zulal Wellness Resort by Chiva Som, Qatar

Genomic testing reveals how uniquely individual health can be – and which genetic patterns influence vitality, metabolism, and long-term balance. At Zulal, the luxury health resort in Qatar, experts rely on exactly this approach, offering guests detailed insights into how efficiently their bodies process vitamins, minerals, hormones, and even toxins, as well as which nutritional combinations work best. The test also provides guidance on ideal movement styles, personal sleep behavior, and even tailored skincare. In other words: full-spectrum longevity. Guests can take the test at any point during their stay at Zulal. Results arrive within three to four weeks and are then reviewed with a specialized advisor, either on-site or online. The report shows how easily the body loses weight, where genetic sensitivities to allergens or environmental factors may lie, and which chronic conditions could potentially be favored. It also includes hereditary factors and individual medication responses, helping guests plan future health and wellness programs more effectively. Of course, it’s not a substitute for medical care, but it offers a meaningful snapshot of genetic tendencies. Good to know: sister resort Chiva-Som in Hua Hin, Thailand, offers the same genomic testing.

Let's Ask the Industry

Is longevity on your clients’ radar?

"Longevity is a category that’s still taking shape. Clients are certainly interested in wellness, but longevity goes far beyond that. Thanks to my own expertise, it’s easy to spark curiosity – and I’m fortunate to now rely on the support of a physician who specializes in longevity as well as a hotel representative. For 2026, we’re planning an event, either virtual or in person, to introduce the topic to a wider audience. What matters most to clients is the expertise of the hotel: medical guidance, nutrition, the activity program, and, importantly, the overall sense of wellbeing. A clinic-like atmosphere is a clear no-go. In recent years, I’ve seen rising awareness among my clients – and in society as a whole – of how essential longevity has become. People are realizing they can actively invest in their long-term health right now. I recommend properties like Alpin Hotel Sacher Seefeld, where the medical leadership takes a deeply holistic approach paired with a high comfort factor. The same applies to Alpinresort Schwarz Seefeld. Lanserhof Sylt and Lanserhof Tegernsee remain the best-known options, offering outstanding programs, and Krallerhof in Leogang also places strong emphasis on longevity and regeneration. Further afield, my top choices include Thailand’s Kamalaya Wellness Sanctuary on Koh Samui, RAKxa in greater Bangkok, Zulal Wellness Resort in Qatar, Six Senses Kaplankaya in Türkiye, and Siro One Za’abeel in Dubai. I’ve already gained firsthand experience at Kamalaya and Zulal – because staying still means falling behind. That’s why I visit properties several times a year to get familiar with their offerings. What you’ve experienced yourself, you can sell with confidence."

In A Nutshell

For travel advisors, this highly profitable niche is worth claiming – the potential is enormous. According to the Global Wellness Summit, global life expectancy has already climbed to 77 years, and the United Nations reports that centenarians are now the fastest-growing age group. So, get familiar with what the longevity space has to offer – your clients will thank you for it.
