The Renovated

Belmond Splendido, Italy This extensive renovation has finally reached another milestone. This year, Belmond plans to showcase the completely redesigned main building of the Splendido, including a brand new cocktail bar and Dior Spa. Even more exciting is the picturesque Villa Beatrice (pictured) with private sea access, set to open in July 2025. It offers space for up to ten guests, plenty of privacy, and probably the most beautiful view of the Italian Riviera.
Brenners Park-Hotel & Spa, Germany Here's another gem for anyone with tempered patience. Work has been going on at Brenners Park-Hotel in Baden-Baden since 2023, but it should be finished this spring, according to the Oetker Collection. By then, the façade, roof, windows, balconies, and rooms – as well as the entire building services – will be renovated and updated. In the meantime, the interior is also being spruced up: Frankfurt studio MM-Design has cleverly combined historical elements with modern comfort.
