Inspirations for Luxury Moments

Take a Spin (on the Ocean!)

There's no one that doesn't like a classic roadtrip, but how about a little jaunt on the water instead? At the Siyam World and Sun Siyam Olhuveli resorts, the dream's now a reality. The chic light blue jet cars can be rented for 10, 20, or 30 minutes at a time. A Yamaha engine provides the power (and the speed), and clients will enjoy easy steering. Just be sure they have the right playlist downloaded and ready so they can pump the mix over the jet car's Bluetooth speakers. The craft accommodates two. Pro Tip: upsell the drone photos which are available upon request, and have your clients do your marketing for you! More Info

Weightless on the Water

Is this a fishing village or a spa? Guests at the Six Senses Con Dao in Vietnam will probably be asking themselves this question more often from now on. The design of the resort's newly renovated spa is reminiscent of a traditional fishing village – the cool thing is that the jetties connecting the nine overwater platforms make it look as if the spa is floating. The designers were inspired by water lilies, which, like the spa, are enthroned on the surface of the water. Six Senses naturally focused on sustainability during construction and only used renewable materials such as bamboo and teak wood. More Info

Of Traditions and Dances

Thursday Island is located in the very north of Australia's state of Queensland in the middle of the Torres Strait. What makes the island so special? This is where the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures meet and mingle. Travelers can experience this at the Migi Malu Experience, a performance that combines traditional indigenous dances and storytelling. Among other things, the locals talk about seafaring traditions, their connection to the land and the stars, as well as hunting and gardening. The Full Malu Experience, which includes a three-course Ailan menu, is also bookable. More Info
