Inspirations for Luxury Moments

Cowboy College

I mean, the headline says it all, doesn't it?! Why vacation on a ranch to get just taste of this life when your clients can literally walk (and ride!) in their boots? In Scottsdale, AZ at the Arizona Cowboy College, clients spend six days learning how to become a real horseman and wrangler. In addition to riding lessons, it also includes slinging a lasso, caring for horses and cows, and driving cattle. As the college takes place on a working ranch, the courses always vary depending on what is required. After passing the exam on the last day clients ride out on horseback for a graduation dinner in the desert. Yee-haw!! More Info

Swim like Arielle

No need to do a double take for this one, because mermaids do exist! At least they do at the two Maldives resorts of Six Senses: Laamu and Kanuhura, which are now offering "PADI Mermaid" classes. Children ages six and up can take part and train their butterfly swimming skills. To create a real mermaid feeling, each Mermaid student is given a monofin in iridescent colors. The classes are offered at various levels of difficulty and adults can participate, too. Go the extra mile and book the photographer who's on hand by request, to capture your clients' most beautiful mermaid moments. More Info

Skateboard Art in Paris

Anyone who thinks a skateboard is only for funky punks doing stunts is in for a rude awakening. Turns out they also make for a great art medium! The Hôtel de Crillon, A Rosewood Hotel on Place de la Concorde in Paris has teamed up with the artist platform The Skateroom and is exhibiting skateboard works by Cindy Sherman, Ai Weiwei, Jeff Koons, and Andy Warhol, among others. The reason for the exhibition, which runs until September 14th, is the inclusion of skateboarding as a recognized sport at the Summer Olympics, taking place in Paris starting July 26th. The skateboard art can be found in the lobby, and in some suites. More Info
