Aman Opens Beach Club Restaurant

A nice addition has come to two of Aman's luxury hotels: culinary options have expanded to include the Nura beach club concept. The new restaurant can be found at the Amanpuri in Thailand and the Amanzoe (pictured) in Greece. Nura is located on Korakia Beach and creates a relaxed atmosphere at The Beach Club at Amanzoe, with laid-back beats and Mediterranean dishes. At Amanpuri, Nura can be found on Pansea Beach. The restaurant is open to guests of the hotel and to visitors alike.

Cassia Debuts in South Korea

The young hotel brand Cassia, part of the Banyan Group, now has a 674-room hotel in Sokcho. The design of the rooms is elegant and clean with bright colors. Cassia Sokcho (pictured) offers its guests six F&B outlets, including the chic rooftop bar Cielo, and is located in the northern part of the country by the sea. Banyan Group has opened another hotel almost in tandem: the Homm Marina Sokcho. Its rooms and suites are minimalist, but very stylish, and the hotel has a rooftop pool with views for days.

Emirates Rolling Out Retrofits for Geneva

Emirates is retrofitting the cabins of its first Boeing B-777s. Starting August 11th, the Geneva-Dubai and Brussels-Dubai routes will be operated for the first time in a four-class configuration, including the eagerly awaited new Premium Economy Class. The seats and configuration of the new product are similar to those in Emirates' Airbus A-380 (pictured), which has already been refitted. The B-777 has 24 seats in Premium Eco. Business Class is also new and offers more privacy.

Luxury Train Rolling Through Egypt

A big bang for Egyptian luxury tourism, which is still in its infancy. A luxury train will run between Cairo and Aswan starting in 2027. Dubbed the "Guardian of the Nile," the train will be manufactured by the Italian Arsenale Group, which is also behind the La Dolce Vita Orient Express announced for 2025. The Guardian of the Nile comprises 15 carriages with 40 cabins for a total of 80 passengers. Egypt seems to be following a trend, as Saudi Arabia and the UAE also have luxury trains in the works.

Delano Dubai Starts in October

The Delano has long been an institution in Miami, and now the new hotel is on target for its opening in October in Dubai, where it can be found on Bluewaters Island. Delano Dubai will consist of 167 rooms and 84 suites with one or two bedrooms. The highlight is the five-bedroom penthouse with an infinity pool and private elevator on the seventh floor. The design is elegant and employs bright colors. The legendary Rose Bar will move in for the merriment, and two restaurants will deliver the delights.

SeaDream Intros Grand Voyages

More time on board, more destinations. SeaDream has launched the Grand Yachting Voyages Collection for 2025 and 2026, where some trips last between 21 and 35 days, which makes it possible to combine different cruising areas. For example, one voyage will take 28 days from Barcelona to Oslo ("Grand Scandinavia & Northern Europe"). Six Grand Yachting Voyages are planned for 2026. Three of them include an Atlantic crossing and a European tour.
