Aman Launches Rosa Alpina in Italy
On August 24, Aman’s newest addition, Aman Rosa Alpina (pictured), will welcome its first guests. Reservations are now open. Tucked away in San Cassiano in the Italian Dolomites, the retreat features two 150 square meters (1,600-square-feet) Aman Suites and the exclusive Chalet Zeno. More properties are in the pipeline: recently announced, Amanvari in Los Cabos in Mexico, while Amanjena in Marokko is getting a full refresh and set to reopen in October 2025.

Wilderness Opens New Kenia Camp
Starting June 2026, Wilderness will be present in Kenya’s Mara Triangle with the Wilderness Mara Camp. It replaces the former Little Governor’s Camp that once stood on the same site. With just twelve tents, the camp offers a lot of privacy and access to one of Africa’s most wildlife-rich regions. Even the Great Migration can be witnessed from here – thanks to the camp’s elevated position. In February 2026, the Wilderness Mara Villa will open at the former location of Governor’s Private Camp.

Regent Unveils New Suite Categories
Regent Seven Seas is set to welcome a new ship to its fleet at the end of 2026: the Seven Seas Prestige. The cruise line just revealed new suite categories onboard, including the showstopper – Regent’s largest suite ever. The Regent Skyview Suite (pictured) spans a massive 817 Square meters (8,800 square feet), with 344 square meters (3,700 square feet) of balcony space alone. Also debuting: the Skyview Suites, Grand Loft Suites, and Horizon Penthouse Suites.

Picnic Island Turns into an Eco-Resort
Picnic Island, once part of the Marriott Bonvoy portfolio, has a new owner – Mark Israel – and a bold new vision. The tiny island off Tasmania’s coast is currently undergoing a full-scale transformation into an exclusive eco-luxury retreat for just eight guests. Extensive renovations are already underway. Guests will be looked after by a top-tier concierge service starting from the moment of booking. The reopening is planned for November, with Hobart at Tasmania's east coast as the closest airport.

Eurowings Introduces the Premium Biz Seat
More comfort on mid-haul: Starting in November, German airline Eurowings will introduce its new Premium Biz Seat on select A320neo aircraft. Instead of the usual 3-3 layout in narrow-body jets, these seats will be arranged 2-2, offering a noticeable upgrade in comfort. The Premium Biz Seats will complement the existing Biz Class with blocked middle seats. Each aircraft will feature eight of the new seats. The Berlin–Dubai route will be the first to launch in November, with bookings available from August onwards.

Como Hotels heads to the Côte d'Azur
Como Hotels & Resorts is expanding to France with a second property, now on the Côte d’Azur. The historic Le Beauvallon near St. Tropez is being gradually transformed back into a hotel. From July 1 to October 31, 25 suites will be available under the original name Le Beauvallon, along with the reopening of its renowned beach club. Starting next year, the property will officially join the luxurious Como portfolio. The culinary concept is being crafted by Michelin-starred chef Yannick Alléno.
