Rosewood debuts in Amsterdam
Rosewood Amsterdam is opening its doors a little earlier than expected – and it’s making a grand entrance. Set in the former Palace of Justice in the heart of the Dutch capital, the hotel blends heritage charm with modern luxury. Inside, guests will find 134 rooms and suites, plus five Signature Houses designed with a residential feel. Culinary highlights include Eeuwen, the signature restaurant, and expertly crafted cocktails at Advocatuur bar. For those in the know, there’s even a hidden speakeasy tucked away. Light bites and afternoon tea are served in the elegant Court lounge.

RSSC presents World Cruise 2027/28
Regent Seven Seas Cruises is setting the stage for an epic 2027/28 season, launching bookings with a lineup of five Grand Voyages and one World Cruise. Titled "Legends of the Pacific," the World Cruise aboard the Seven Seas Splendor kicks off on January 5, 2028, sailing from Los Angeles and wrapping up 133 nights and 74 ports later in San Francisco. Meanwhile, the Mariner, Voyager, and Explorer will chart the globe on itineraries like the Grand Arctic Expedition, Grand Mediterranean Odyssey, Grand Southern Seas Sojourn, Grand South America Mosaic, and Grand Asia Escape.

One&Only heads upstate to New York
Kerzner International has unveiled plans for its second One&Only resort in North America, set to open in 2028 in New York’s Hudson Valley. Just a 90-minute drive from NYC, the future hideaway will be nestled on a 21-hectare estate in Hyde Park. The resort will feature 61 rooms, suites, and villas, offering a luxe escape surrounded by nature. Kerzner is teaming up with Nolan Reynolds International and the prestigious Culinary Institute of America to create bold new fine dining concepts. Wellness will also take center stage, with a Longevity Hub by Clinique La Prairie planned as part of the experience.

American Airlines unveils new Suite
With the arrival of its new Boeing 787-900, American Airlines is taking inflight comfort to the next level. Debuting for the first time are the all-new Flagship Suites – private havens featuring lockable doors, a chaise lounge with adjustable pillows, ample storage, premium amenities, and the full works: multi-course meals, plush pillows, and cozy blankets. The first route to feature the Flagship Suite will be Chicago to Los Angeles, starting June 5. Going forward, the elevated experience will be rolled out across all newly delivered B-787-900s.

Via Natura launches new Catamaran
With the launch of the Hermes Mega Catamaran, Via Natura is setting a new standard for cruising the Galápagos Islands – this time in ultra-luxury style. Designed for just 20 guests, the vessel offers a 1:1 staff-to-guest ratio, elegant interiors, and a truly elevated onboard experience. Each suite features a private balcony, whirlpool bath, and butler service, with drinks included. Guests can also unwind in the onboard hammam and choose from a range of curated experiences as part of tailored travel packages.

St. Regis presents Le Morne Resort
As of May 6, 2025, the former JW Marriott Mauritius officially operates under its new name: The St. Regis Le Morne Resort, Mauritius. The rebrand comes with more than just a new sign – guests can expect enhanced service thanks to an expanded team, a multi-million euro investment in infrastructure, and the sweet addition of an in-house patisserie. Good to know for you and your clients: all existing reservations remain valid, and all current contract terms are in place through January 10, 2026.
