Inspirations for Luxury Moments
Sardine Sensation
What an incredible sight: Every year between May and June, billions of sardines migrate north from South Africa in a massive wave. Following their trail are whales, dolphins, sharks, seals, and gannets. Luxury operator Untold Storys has now turned this phenomenon into an exclusive journey. The ten-day "Sardine Run Odysseys" can be booked between May 20 and June 20. The trip includes daily expeditions with marine biologists, where guests can dive and snorkel among the sardine shoals. Added to that are luxurious stays at Sandcastle Lodge, gourmet dinners, and storytelling events. More Info

The Loudest Show on Earth
Now that’s a debut to remember: On January 31, 2026, Rockin’ 1000 will perform its first-ever U.S. concert. The highlight? A staggering 1,000 musicians and singers sharing one stage. They’ll gather from around the world to play at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans. As a tribute to the city’s rich jazz heritage, a brass ensemble featuring trumpets, saxophones, and trombones will join the massive band on stage. Rockin’ 1000 originally began in 2025 as a one-time event to perform a Foo Fighters song – but the concept struck such a chord that the shows are now touring globally. More Info

Ice, Bubbles & Awe
Is there something living inside the ice…? Don’t worry – those alien-like shapes are methane bubbles trapped beneath the frozen surface. They're created by naturally occurring bacteria that break down plant matter at the bottom of Lake Abraham in Alberta, Canada. In winter, the lake turns into a very Instagrammable spot that can also be explored on a guided tour. During the Abraham Lake Ice Walk, local guides lead a small group across the frozen surface. The experience wraps up with gourmet hot chocolate and toasted marshmallows – somehow, they taste even better on ice. Available daily from December through March. More Info
Snap the Wild
The only thing being shot here is stunning photography: Pix Around, known for custom photo shoots around the world, is now offering this service for safaris. Thanks to a new partnership with Everseen, guests can book a Safari Expert Photographer to accompany them for two to three days. The result? Striking images captured in the savanna, at the lodge, and – if luck strikes – with wildlife in the frame. Guests also have the chance to learn how to get the most out of their own cameras and improve their wildlife photography skills. More Info
