Radisson Goes Istanbul

After the Radisson Collection celebrated its debut in Turkey in the port city of Bodrum last year, the brand's second hotel is now opening on the north side of Istanbul. To accomplish this, the former Radisson Blu Hotel in the Vadistanbul district, near the shopping center and stadium of the same name, was renovated and rebranded. The new Radisson Collection Hotel, Vadistanbul features 193 rooms and suites decorated with photographs by local artists. An all-day dining restaurant, several meeting rooms, and a 1,000-square-foot ballroom provide a beautiful setting for business and private events with up to 900 guests. İstanbul'a hoş geldiniz!

The Customer is King

Austria's "Wilder Kaiser" (Wild Emperor) is a 7500ft.-high mountain near Ellmau in Tyrol. Luxury travelers have had the royal... nay, imperial treatment here since the end of 2021. High up on the Wochenbrunner Alm is a small chalet village that has been expanded by six luxurious accommodations to mark the hotel's 20th anniversary. Exterior facades exude the classic Tyrolean look, while the inside of the new chalets enchant: spacious living areas include a couch and fireplace, a kitchen, bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms, and a private sauna. Culinary delicacies are served through a convenient service window next to the building's entrance.

Master of the Bubbly

From October 24 to 30, 2022, The Ozen Collection invites guests to an exclusive edition of the popular Guy Charbaut Champagne Masterclass at Reserve Bolifushi and Ozen Life Maadhoo. Here, Xavier and Nathalie Charbaut will guide guests through a sparkling soiree where they will be allowed to immerse themselves in the world of their various champagnes. Produced in the heart of the wine-growing community of Mareuil-sur-Ay, the fine wines, each of which will be presented at three exclusive champagne tastings with a concluding dinner, will ensure lasting moments of enjoyment in the Maldives – because they will be available to guests all year round in the bars and restaurants of the two host resorts.

Safari Adventure by Marriott

Marriott International enters the luxury safari segment! The JW Marriott Masai Mara Lodge in Kenya's Masai Mara National Reserve is expected to open in 2023. The plan is to offer discerning travelers (including families!) an elegant retreat with a deep connection to nature and their own bodies. Amidst the untamed landscape, visitors will be able to observe the Big Five and – between June and September – the annual migration of over ten million wildebeest. The camp is to include twenty tents, a restaurant, a lounge bar, a spa, and a large outdoor terrace with fire pits. Guests can also look forward to traditional Masai dance performances.
