Dive with Gentle Giants
Get ready for a spiritual experience! The Amanwana on Indonesia's Moyo Island has added an excursion to a protected whale shark population. Saleh Bay, located east of Moyo Island, is home to more than 103 whale sharks. As a result, UNESCO has declared the area a biosphere reserve. On the Aman tour, guests travel by boat to Saleh Bay at sunrise. There, an expert explains everything they need to know about the sea creatures – and then you can swim with them! Breakfast is served on board, and with a little luck it comes with a glimpse of a whale shark or two. More Info

Explore the Tablescape
"And how would you like it set?" From now on, guests of London's The Milestone Hotel who rent The Oratory for a private dinner party will hear this question. Here, guests are in charge of designing their own dining experience, as they decide what goes on the plate, as well as the actual plates themselves. Not only do they get to curate the menu and the floral arrangements, but the exact cutlery, glassware, etc. that they desire. This is made possible by the hotel's cooperation with Maison Margaux, the British luxury label for tableware. For the Maison Margaux Tablescape Private Dining Experience, hotel guests have this exclusive opportunity borrowing tableware from the high-end brand. More Info
Mexican River Dreams
Beaches and pools are great, without a doubt, but this hotel offers even more water. At the Andaz Mayakoba in Mexico, guests can take part in an in-house eco-cruise. Twice a day, the hotel's small boat sails along the adjacent lagoon. On board, nature guides explain the flora and fauna of the lagoon around the hotel to guests. Clients want to be driven through the lagoon at a different time and, above all, in a very private way? No problem – the boat can also depart at predetermined times, accompanied of course by either breakfast, lunch, dinner, or simply a glass of bubbles. More Info

D.I.Y. Gin
Guests at Ellerman House in Cape Town, South Africa, can take home a very special souvenir. Every Thursday and Friday now, the Inverroche Gin Academy is hosted on the property. This means that hotel guests are allowed to create their own personal gin from a basic spirit and a selection of fynbos botanicals, i.e. aromatic essences from the special botany of the region. They are initiated into the secrets of gin making along the way, and get to take their creation home with them. Fun fact: Inverroche has also created the hotel's own house gin, the fragrant Botany Bay Gin. More Info
